Who are we?

Hello, I’m Brooke, the owner and founder of Hare & Hunter.

As a proud mum to my daughter, Hattie, living on a sheep and beef farm in the rural Rangitīkei region has been the inspiration behind Hare & Hunter. Our way of life on the farm sparked a passion to create timeless knitwear that not only celebrates New Zealand’s wool industry but also brings warmth, comfort, and lasting quality to little Kiwi wardrobes.

At the heart of Hare & Hunter are classic, thoughtfully designed garments inspired by the beauty of the countryside. While we’re known for our signature earthy and neutral palette, we’ve also introduced a carefully curated range of beautiful colours, allowing families to choose pieces that reflect their own style while staying true to our timeless aesthetic.
